One of the goals we have for the Queen is to give back to the community who so generously supported the renovation of this great building. As we finish out 2018, we are proud to showcase a number of partnerships. Most of these events are open to the public, so watch our website for schedules and tickets.

Nov. 1 - 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. The award-winning documentaries produced by KBTX/KWTX, “We Can’t Forget Vietnam” and “From the Ashes” will be shown on this anniversary of the beginning of the Vietnam conflict. The 3 p.m. showing will be followed with a presentation from the Brazos Valley Vietnam Veterans. FREE

Nov. 9, 10 & 13 The Theatre Company presents “BCS to Broadway and Back - The Randy Wilson Story.” The Nov. 9 showing will be followed by the original film version of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Nov. 11 - Centennial celebration of the end of WWI. Beginning at 2 p.m., WWI documentaries and movies will be shown at the Queen. At 7:30 p.m., a ceremony dedicating two WWI plaques will take place at the Palace Theater, followed by a showing of Sgt. York at the Queen at 8 p.m. Movies generously sponsored by Century 21 Property Management.

Nov. 18 - 2 p.m. Marking the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the Texas A&M College of English presents “Frankenstein” and “Bride of Frankenstein.” Seating is limited; online advance purchase recommended.

Nov. 18, 25 & Dec. 2 - 7 p.m. Brazos Valley Worldfest International Film Festival. Seating is limited; online advance purchase recommended.

Various dates - Bryan, Texas Utilities Holiday Classics at The Queen. Enjoy a reduced admission of $4 for 12 holiday favorites showing in November and December (see Tickets for dates and titles)

Nov. 29-Dec. 2 Bryan High School Theatre presents “It’s a Wonderful Life” Radio Play. The cast will present a radio play in 1930’s style, complete with period dress, performing their own sound effects and local jingles. Tickets on sale soon!
